To know Jean-Marc Pierre was to know someone who never met a stranger.
Whether in the bustling streets of Cap-Haïtien, at church on a Sunday morning, or sitting beneath a shade tree sharing stories with friends, Jean-Marc had a gift for making people feel seen, heard, and valued. He possessed a warmth that drew people in and a generosity that left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to cross his path.
Born in northern Haiti, Jean-Marc grew up in a household where faith, perseverance, and family were treasured above all else. His parents taught him the importance of hard work and integrity, lessons he carried with him throughout his life.
As a young man, Jean-Marc developed a passion for repairing and maintaining vehicles. What began as curiosity eventually became a respected career as a mechanic and small business owner. Over the years, countless people brought their vehicles to him, not only because of his skill but because they trusted him. He was known for his honesty, fairness, and willingness to help someone even when they could not afford to pay.
